Seeing the world.

The past week I have been to 5 different countries and airports. As much as I hate to admit travelling costs a lot of money, seeing the world has opened my eyes to the global society and how small and insignificant I am in the world. I would say it was and still is a great privilege to see the world and I definitely encourage that to all my friends and family.

The best part of seeing the world is seeing it when you're young. Definitely, as you get older you'll have more money to live more comfortably and purchase more items, but the world will not shape how you think. It is more of a vacation or a getaway.

When you're still young, you don't have the same responsibilities yet, such as kids, mortgage payments, etc...., and your mind has not developed into a particular pro-working mindframe. You see the world and discover the creation of civilizations, learning about culture and history, seeing how people live, the architecture of new and old...This will help you generate a level of comparison of lifestyle, standard of living and also what you want to do with your life. It may result to the conclusion that you prefer Toronto lifestyle more, but in the end the decision was only derived because you saw certain comparable parts of the world.

If you ever want to travel, let me know. I have lots of vacation and I am dying to see the rest of the world.

My future travel goals:
1. Asia - as many cities, towns, farms, landmarks as I can afford
2. South Africa
3. The rest of Europe - Mainly Prague, France, London, Spain (Mallorca, Barcelona, Madrid), Greece, Italy (Rome and Sicily)
4. South America - Brazil and Chile
5. Panama City
6. LA/San Francisco
7. BC Rockies
8. Golfing anywhere in California or Southeast coastline.
